The Cottages at Mill Creek - Family Testimonials
Thank you for the gentle care you gave Mom. It was reassuring to know she was looked after, warm & safe. She is with God now & that is where she wanted to be.
In appreciation,
Eileen
It has been a year now since Joyce has lived at The Cottages and we want to thank everyone for the outstanding care you have provide her! We are deeply grateful for all you do to help us provided her with a good life. We especially appreciate the small, home-like environment, excellent nursing care, and individualized attention Joyce receives.
Our mother, Beatrice Hurt, was a resident at Alderwood Assisted Living in Lynnwood, from May 1st, 2000 to July 15, 2001. I felt you should know how very pleased our family was with the wonderful care she received while living there. The staff was so very helpful, caring and kind. The administrator, Terry Schidgall, was always ready to answer any questions and very efficient at handling anything we needed help with. We enjoyed getting to know everyone there and felt so grateful that our mother was in a safe place. She has since needed more care and had to move to an adult family home to meet this need. Thank you for your wonderful staff at Alderwood we will remember them always!
Sincerely,
Debbie Lu, Lynn Wattess, Steve Hurt, Paula Knauer, Martin Hurt (Beatrice’s Children)

I want you to know how grateful I am for the love and care you and your staff gave to Mark while he was a resident at The Cottages and for the support shown to me. It never is an easy time for anyone but knowing that he was loved and well cared for certainly made things less stressful. I only wish you and the staff had had the opportunity to know Mark when he was healthy. He has such a zest for life and brought so much happiness to those around him. We all know that he is now at peace and does not have to suffer any longer and for that I am thankful. God Bless you all for the work you do.
Very truly yours,
Merrie Kay Sharar
We can never fully express our gratitude to each and every one of you for taking such wonderful care of Bert while he lived at the Cottages. It was a miracle that we found you, and we feel so fortunate to have been able to have him live there.
Sincerely,
Gary and Sue Lintz
Just to say thank you will never be enough. You not only took care of our daughter, and loved her, but you were there for us as well, and helped us get through also the worst time in our lives. You made the Cottages a real home for Tracy, and made it possible for her to pass away "at home". You went above and beyond as far as we are concerned, and for that we will be eternally grateful.
With much love and gratitude,
John & Toni Cecsarini
